Our mission was to create a brand that encapsulated the
venue, a fun interface that could successfully communicate
the complex offer to the public - a cultural pick ’n’ mix for a lively family day out.
The brand identity was conceived to convey The Atkinson as a place full of inspiration and learning, a venue that exudes quality throughout the whole offer, and provides
an immersive and coherent experience for the end user.
Carefully crafted to honour the core
values of the organisation; It is inclusive and honest,
it’s empowering and exudes quality.
The brand is positioned to reflect the venue as a regional, British-modern culture hub with a classic collection at its heart, where tourists, families, the local community and culturally aware visitors can enjoy a day out under one roof.
Due to the huge range of shows, events and attractions programmed at The Atkinson, it was essential that our design rationale and visual toolkit was robust and varied enough to suitably present any subject.
